1- Pressure resistance: Hydraulic seals must be able to operate with high efficiency under the high pressure that occurs in the hydraulic system.

2- Heat resistance: Waterproofing equipment is exposed to high temperatures and must have resistance to heat and expansion and contraction to prevent water penetration.

3- Flexibility: Sealing materials must be flexible to prevent expansion and contraction of the bonded surfaces as a result of drainage.

4- Corrosion resistance: Hydraulic seals must be resistant to corrosion and cannot be easily exposed to water and moisture.

5- Adhesion: The sealing devices must have good adhesion with the surfaces of the cap, piston and cylinder in order to effectively prevent the passage of hydraulic fluid.
